[Pharo-project] Want to sprint on saturday?

by Guillermo Polito

Maybe it's a bit late, but if you are still in Lille on saturday and want to code a bit after two days of watching some cool talks, a Pharo Sprint is what you need! I've prepared a doodle, just to see how can we manage: http://www.doodle.com/t5uv5fhmm7adi6cs Cheers, Guille

The station is a bit a mess :) but I would suggest meeting at the entrance where it goes down to the metro in the station itself (is that somehow clearly expressed? :D) otherwise a good meeting point is in front of the old trainstation Lille Flandres (about 200m / 1 metro stop from Lille Europe) best cami On 2012-05-22, at 12:53, Stephan Eggermont wrote: > I've checked my train ticket. [Pharo-project] Some repackaging ideas

by Guillermo Polito

1) There are some basic objects that should be allways in the core - Character (now packaged in Collection-Strings) - CombinedChar (now packaged in Graphics-Text) - Rectangle (now packaged in Collection-Primitives) - Point (now packaged in Collection-Primitives) Maybe it should be good to put them in a 'Kernel-BasicObjects' category. 2) I do not get why Text stuff is in Collections-Text. And Graphics-Text contains stuff related to it too Maybe we can package them together as - Text-Core - Text-Scanning And put RunArray into Text-Core will clean a bit the scene :). Will create issues Guille

ZnDigestAuthenticator needs more work, but at the moment, I do not have the time take a detailed look (I did not write this code, I would have to study the specs in details first). > > > HTH, > > > Sven > > > -- > Sven Van Caekenberghe > http://stfx.eu > Smalltalk is the Red Pill > > _______________________________________________ > seaside mailing list > seaside(a)lists.squeakfoundation.org > http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside >

would be good to address that (even if we are rewriting slowly everything) or we should rewrite faster.
