[Pharo-project] Spec default row layout

by Sean P. DeNigris

SpecLayout composed newRow: [ :spec1 | spec1 add: #debugModeSwitch ] height: 30; newRow: [ :spec2 | spec2 add: #jobListModel ] "origin: 0@0 corner: 1@1 offsetOrigin: 0@30 offsetCorner: 0@0"; yourself. If I uncomment the comment, it lays out okay. With that part commented out, the second row covers the whole window and blocks out the first. I was expecting that adding a row would begin where the previous left off (i.e. that the 30 offset would be implied). Could that be made the default? -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Spec-default-row-layout-tp4643245.html Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

[Pharo-project] ScriptManager MNU #yellowButtonMenu

by Torsten Bergmann

It works without a problem in Pharo 2.0. In Pharo 1.4. it worked a month ago - but with the new summer release of Pharo the "ParagraphEditor" is now thrown out and a switch to "SmalltalkEditor" is required. I fixed it. So if you download a new Pharo 1.4 from the homepage then try the "ConfigurationOfScriptManager-tbn.19" which is available from the config browser. Lesson learned: when we provide a new update on an already existing Pharo version (like the summer update release for 1.4 then we should check for compatibility or check all configs for this version) Bye T.

But to do that, you have to download all the configurations? Today they are not downloaded... Each configuration can have just a specific message #projectDescription or whatever (a method and a pragma) that just answers that.... Re: [Pharo-project] Monticello changes not working

by Mariano Martinez Peck

In my case, I can reproduce it always. Each time I ask changes, not necessary slices. Modify something in a package and see changes. I think it happens quite reproducible when asking for changes of packages with references (slices)... On 2012-08-05, at 16:20, "Sean P. Re: [Pharo-project] [ENH]: FileReference subclasses

by Sean P. DeNigris

Igor Stasenko wrote > > detecting the file type on it's extension is too unreliable , IMO. > I used the file extension in the example because that's what I'm familiar with in other systems. The FileReference subclass could do any checks it wants to prevent false positives (e.g. a .zip file could check that it begins with a local file header signature). Also, this is how file services are already handled in Pharo (browse implementors of #fileReaderServicesForFile:suffix:) -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/ENH-FileReference-subclasses-tp4643116p4643224.html Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
