[Pharo-project] Small mini howto on moving a project to SmalltalkHub

by Torsten Bergmann

Göran wrote: > <snip>lots of nice stuff about SmalltalkHub</snip> I agree with all you wrote and hope to put not too much pressure on Nicolas ... but: 1. at a bare minimum it needs a way to see what projects are hosted as we have seen from the discussion in this thread 2. It's open source - but still there is no - descriptions of what is required to set it up locally - load script or a ConfigurationOfSmalltalkHub so one can load the required packages Especially the last point may be a step to be able for the community to help and contribute and put it on more shoulders. This would lead to better acceptance. Currently it is very dependent on one persons schedule as I already wrote in November: http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/pipermail/pharo-project/2012-November/071497.h… and as we see the wishlist is growing... Thx T.

[Pharo-project] [Issue tracker] issues that need reviews

by Marcus Denker

Not that a mail like that ever had any effect⦠but there are issues that are fixed and could be integrated, the only thing needed is someone doing a review (to make sure it's a good change and does not break everything): http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/list?can=2&q=status%3AFixReviewNeeded…

[Pharo-project] [Issue Tracker] issues tagged 2.0

by Marcus Denker

http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/list?can=2&q=milestone%3D2.0&colspec=… We need to look at each one and decide -> is this a show stopper for releasing 2.0? - Hint: a bug that was already in 1.4 is *not* - A "nice to have" improvement is not, either. - Same for cleanups. Marcus

[Pharo-project] Cleaning up old Jenkins

by Torsten Bergmann

Yes - but the easy to remember "shortcut" subdomain http://ci.pharo-project.org still points to the old one! Whoever can fix this he should also look at: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=7059 Bye T.

http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/list?can=2&q=milestone%3D3.0&colspec=… This is for making a list of things to be done *not* for 2.0 but later. E.g. removing URI or cleaning up the use of the low-level DisplayObject animation code by Morphic Drag-n-Drop

[Pharo-project] rollbacking 20440

by Stéphane Ducasse

Hi guys I will rollback 20440 because ChangeSet cleanUp makes sure that the system is in a state where there is an endless loop in its own code. So we cannot load the fix I proposed. I will rollback, load my fix, load the other changes and I will see try to fix the cleanUp so that it does not create something to kill itself. One day I will jump on the dead body of the change set and I will be really ecstatic. Stef
