[Pharo-project] Zinc-SSO OAuth2 Google offline access

by Yanni Chiu

After some struggle to understand OAuth2 and Google Calendar API, I managed to insert a calendar entry. Now, I want to be able to manipulate the calendar, without the user being logged on, in their browser - which is "offline" access according to the Google docs [1] (I'm not sure whether this is an OAuth2 feature, or a Google API feature). I noticed that the ZnGoogleOAuth2Session is coded for "online" access. Should I start coding a ZnGoogleOAuth2OfflineSession - is this the right approach? What's the best way to contribute the code - just make changes in Zinc-SSO-OAuth2-Core package, for later merging? [1] https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2WebServer

In theory now it should work like in the current debugger. Also now in the spec interface I get some very strange bugs that are not in the glamour one. Somehow some things do not update ok. I'll dig to see what happens. I'll let you know when I have something more. Andrei

SmalltalkHub needs to offer a way for a member to request commit rights. The request is submitted to owner(s) of the project for approval. The request should include full name, user name and I think also the users image initials or name. I could not find such a feature anywhere. This would eliminate email exchanges as currently required. I think since SmalltalkHub is for Smalltalk code and we enter our initials or name when we save an image and these initials are a part of our monticello archives. It would be nice if these initials were part of our information. Just some thoughts. Jimmie

The method is defined on MorphTreeMorph (see sceenshot) but absent from this class in 1.4. Copying and pasting the method from 1.3 to 1.4 in the class does not work, there are some missing instance variables in the code. The number of implementing classes for setSelectedMorph: does not change between 1.3 and 1.4. To me it seems that the method was moved to MorphTreeListManager in 1.4. It tried to change the receiver to invoke the method on MorphTreeListManager but there are some other problems then. Andrei I will integrate the Spec Widget Changes now. Then I played with the debugger with vanessa and we got a bit lost because the text selection does not show where is the expression currently with over or into. At one point we got to new process and it blocked also everything. So after restarting in a new image we tried run to here and we were confused :) do: aBlock "Refer to the comment in Collection|do:." 1 to: self size do: [:index | aBlock value: (self at: index)] I put the cursor in the block before aBlock and clicked on Run to Here but nothing happened Thanks for your effort this is really important. [Pharo-project] [ANN] NativeBoost project moved to new hosting: smalltalkhub

by Igor Stasenko

Hi, i just migrated all packages & history to new hosting on smalltalkhub. There is a new version AsmJit 1.3 and NativeBoost 2.0 but 'new' there is just changing the official repository urls. --- To try if it works do: --- Gofer it url: 'http://www.smalltalkhub.com/mc/Pharo/NativeBoost/main'; package: 'ConfigurationOfNativeBoost'; load. (ConfigurationOfNativeBoost project version: '2.0') load --- If you want to be added as developer(s) to NativeBoost or AsmJit , make sure you are registered at smalltalkhub, and then send me your credentials. (Lets hope, smalltalkhub won't forget all the data, so i have to add users over and over again like on squeaksource ;) -- Best regards, Igor Stasenko.
