[Pharo-project] pharo/updates now git tracked

by Camillo Bruni

I fixed the files under http://pharo.gforge.inria.fr/updates/ so that all of them are now tracked in the git repository. now the only thing missing is changing the update process to work on proper branches ;): Currently there is a branch for each pharo-release: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 20 - Each update should then be applied to a dev branch which triggers all the tests - after all tests succeed the dev branch is merged into the stable branch by our ci services. The update-process on the ci server is almost ready: - Pharo-2.0-Update-Tracker - Pharo-2.0-Update-Validation - Pharo-2.0-Update-Release What is missing? Get Pharo down to 0 Failing tests :P

Re: [Pharo-project] Nautilus shortcuts

by Camillo Bruni

we will introduce the old shortcuts again with a setting, until then you have to learn them by heart ;). Most shortcuts are base on an action prefix + a suffix for the item you want to act on, it's not that difficult (but yes, more difficult than before): prefix: X => removing suffxin: M => Method T => Protocol C => Class P => Package so in that scheme alt-x alt-x doesn't make any sense ;) On 2013-02-03, at 07:00, Ben Coman <btc(a)openInWorld.com> wrote: > It appears in Nautilus that I've lost the <Alt-x> shortcut for deleting a method, and this has been replaced by a double-keystroke <Alt-x, Alt-m> which on first take I find a bit awkward. Probably I would adapt, however it would be easier to adapt to <Alt-x, Alt-x>. Would that be possible to have out of the box? >

[Pharo-project] Nautilus shortcuts

by Ben Coman

It appears in Nautilus that I've lost the <Alt-x> shortcut for deleting a method, and this has been replaced by a double-keystroke <Alt-x, Alt-m> which on first take I find a bit awkward. Probably I would adapt, however it would be easier to adapt to <Alt-x, Alt-x>. Would that be possible to have out of the box?

[Pharo-project] updates files

by Camillo Bruni

Can I remove the uncategorized update files fro 1.0 from gforge? http://pharo.gforge.inria.fr/updates/ seems like a part of them is duplicated. The standard location would be http://pharo.gforge.inria.fr/updates/pharo1.0/ no?
