oh, it works... it just doesn't work as some are expecting... but we can improve that to make everyone happy :) Esteban On Apr 4, 2013, at 2:14 PM, stephane ducasse <stephane.ducasse(a)free.fr> wrote: > + 1 > >> For instance i am still clueless, why 'enter' is default for autocompletion, >> and disabling it and enabling 'tab' simply doesn't works. >> That leaves me with the only option: keep using 'enter' for >> autocompletion, if i ever want to use it. >> We have to fix that. > > I have no idea why tab does not work. >

[Pharo-project] Pharo Theming: does anyone have some doc?

by phil＠highoctane.be

I am digging inside the UITheme and friends and wondered if there was any documentation about it. Googled already but not much turned up. I've got some success in the PharoTheme (fill-style) category and now have a decent grasp of how it works (it is strange to find a ton of glamorous-xxx methods in the private category of PharoTheme but well). I want to do a high contrast/dark theme for my own work as it would be better for accessibility. I find the Darcula theme pretty neat (http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/) and use it for work. Would be lovely to have some close thing for Pharo. TIA Phil

Also, sometimes I did have some of the setters/getters before and I didn't like Nautilus would recreate them anyway (without warning me that some of them were already defined). This is problematic when you use lazy getters (getters in which you set something only when nil). [Pharo-project] cleaning the PharoCollaboractive book

by Stéphane Ducasse

Hi guys I'm doing a pass on the collaborative book and in particular in the tools part. I think that we should really use this place to describe the cool library we have. Probably in the future we should generate gutenberg information from the package metadata of the published package so like that we would have an up to date description of our stack. Stef

You can also provide a RBBrowserEnvironment (that's what Nautilus is doing) Ben On Apr 4, 2013, at 2:32 PM, Luc Fabresse <luc.fabresse(a)gmail.com> wrote: > > > 2013/4/4 stephane ducasse <stephane.ducasse(a)free.fr> > we should clean the api. > > behind the API, should we use Ring internally? > I would say yes. > > Another point is about the environment to scope queries, currently it is a SystemDictionary but shouldn't it something else so that we can scope to one class, one RPackage, many ....? > > Luc > > > On Apr 3, 2013, at 7:39 PM, Sean P. Re: [Pharo-project] Cycling Through Open Windows Using Key Combination

by S Krish

It was CTRL + tab in the Pharo 1.4 This hack was to override Morph>>tabKey: event in that execute a new method block [ World tabOpenWindows: event ]. PasteUpMorph>> *tabOpenWindows: aKeyboardEvent* * * *| currentFocus index |* * * *currentFocus := aKeyboardEvent hand keyboardFocus.* *SystemWindow noteTopeWindowIn: self.* *System topWindow sendToBack.* this did work well in 1.4 but in 2.0 there is an override to key handling with KMDispatcher >> dispatchKeystroke: aKeyEvent that not so clearly ends up handling CTRL+tab Need to check and revert if that hack can be plugged on to 2.0 trivially.
