[Pharo-project] Fogbugz access questions

by Sean P. DeNigris

I updated the welcome page [2] to make access options more prominent/clear. I also opened "Issue 10262 Permalink to Penelope registration page" [1] to cut out a step in the process. Hopefully this will ease the confusion and prevent future mailing list questions :) [1] https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/10262/Permalink-to-Penelope-registration-… [2] https://pharo.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W41 ----- Cheers, Sean -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Fogbugz-access-questions-tp4680618.html Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

[Pharo-project] SmartSuggestions - Prototype 0

by Gisela Decuzzi

Hello, I've been working in a prototype for adding some suggestions to the menu depending on what it's selected with the cursor. (The same feature that ALT-Browser has, but now in Nautilus). It's just a little piece of code and has a lot of pending work, right now you can press right click over a message send and offers you browse implementors: [image: Imágenes integradas 1] And if you are in an instance variable name and then right click: [image: Imágenes integradas 2] (The same that ALT-Browser is doing, but in Nautilus) I developed in the latest 2.0 image. So, if you want to load in your image, play a little and then give me some feedback... Gofer it smalltalkhubUser: 'gisela' project: 'SmartSuggestions'; package: 'SmartSuggestions'; package: 'SmartSuggestionsNautilus'; load. :)

Re: [Pharo-project] Syntax highlithing

by Esteban A. Maringolo

The thing with such delays is that they're different for each user. Some type fast, and others type slow. As a note, Eclipse works the way Stephane describes. What I like more than a different color is an underscore line, not just for coding, but like the one in the spellcheckers. It gets your attention better (or mine at least), and is the most common way of telling the user something is not recognized. Regards!

There was a similar thread on the Squeak list a while back about graying out subsequent code when making a change in the middle of some code. e.g. If I have a method with 7 lines (of course I wouldn't have more ;)), and I'm editing statement 3, statements 4-7 would be grayed out instead of red while I was editing. I guess Cami's time delay could work too (just keep subsequent code with normal coloring until editing is complete). ----- Cheers, Sean -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Syntax-highlithing-tp4680534p4680608.html Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
