So coming back to my original question , I assume the answer is a "No". -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Pharo-dev-Clickable-web-links-inside-class-comments-p… Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk Developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Re: [Pharo-dev] SourceCity works

I am extremely interested in taking a deep look at SourceCity code because it will teach me how to use NBOpengl properly. Is there a link ? where I can obtain the source code ? Your project could not have come a better time for my needs, I am in desperately need of NBOpenGL examples and to find a whole project based on it , it feels like Christmas :D -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Re-Pharo-dev-SourceCity-works-tp4692344p4692495.html Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk Developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Re: [Pharo-dev] [Pharo-project] Understanding NBOpenGL

by kilon

Ok I am moving towards the direction you indicated , its just takes time because I am clueless. Af far as macos is concerned I was sucessful into intialising opengl context following your instructions and using clearColor assigned green-blue background to it. Works like a charm even changing the code updates the window to the corresponding color, live coding in all its glory. I am having tons of fun with it. I have a strange bug , well it seems that opengl looses a connection with memory and i have to reinitialize my GLTutorial1 class and pops a framebuffer error. It does it only after some time passes and pharo is idle, its a strange bug, but if it starts appearing again I will try to pin point it, because my code is not up to the opengl standards yet so it may be me that cause this issue. My problem right now is that I follow the tutorial at arcsynth and I am stuck here http://www.arcsynthesis.org/gltut/Basics/Tut01%20Following%20the%20Data.html <http://www.arcsynthesis.org/gltut/Basics/Tut01%20Following%20the%20Data.html> glBufferData(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, sizeof(vertexPositions), vertexPositions, GL_STATIC_DRAW); the question is how i find the size in smalltalk . There is bufferData_target: size: data: usage: which corresponds to that function but I have no idea how to convert sizeof() to smalltalk. Any clues ? If you want to see my code I have commited it in NBOpengl smalltalkhub the latest is NBOpenGL-Morphic-kilon.10 for NBOpenGL-Morphic. -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Understanding-NBOpenGL-tp4686514p4692494.html Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk Developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Re: [Pharo-dev] Clickable web links inside class comments , possible ?

by phil＠highoctane.be

The interesting bit is that the crash I got occured **as I was saving to STH**... https://pharo.fogbugz.com/default.asp?10859#78993 Then Cami told me to drag & drop my .changes file inside my image to recover the changes. Since was I was doing was not coding but commenting, comments were lost (and getting into a deadly loop as well - https://pharo.fogbugz.com/default.asp?10860#78992) Then looking at the Change fileIn, I noticed that thing about comments not being taken into account: https://pharo.fogbugz.com/default.asp?10861#78994 So, I try to work the advertised way, I guess. But things is that a lot of things have the power to destroy my image it seems. That's why I do have a ton of large files in my working folder named like xxxx-YYYYMMDD-HHMM.image|changes Still, I got burned. As of the old code hard to understand, sure, I got lost :-) If I would understand what to do, instead of bugging you I'd be submitting a slice. Let's end this thread :-) Phil On Sun, Jun 9, 2013 at 7:33 PM, Marcus Denker <marcus.denker(a)inria.fr>wrote: > > On Jun 9, 2013, at 7:20 PM, phil(a)highoctane.be wrote: > > > Look, I got the point about mixing up issues. > > > > Thanks for bother to reply BTW, it is appreciated. > > > > As for > > 10861 System not filing in class comments from changes file. > > https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/10861/System-not-filing-in-class-comments… > > yes, this seems to be not filing in class comment from the recent changes. > > I think that nobody complained because it is not used that often and > mostly with relatively small changes > People save on SmalltalkHub very often, or saving the image before doing > something that can destroy it. > > And comments tend to be written at anther times then code that has the > power to destroy you image. > > Yes, we should fix it. Re: [Pharo-dev] [Moose-dev] OpenGL: NBMacGlAPI missing?

by Alexandre Bergel

I have downloaded the ready-to-use image from Jenkins and I have an error. I have downloaded an empty 2.0 image and installed NBOpenGL and it works. Strange. Maybe some initialization are made that makes the image not cross-platform? Just suggesting... Thanks Igor! Being able to do some 3d in Pharo is extremely important.
