Actually having an expression to convert into a test is better than that... And answering the question of "is this a vanilla cog problem" should be good too. But I cannot reproduce that problem in stable cog... to pray? :P nah... if you can send information about how to reproduce it (I already have some others, but the more the better) I'm collecting information on: https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/11130 Esteban On Jul 16, 2013, at 2:09 PM, Norbert Hartl <norbert(a)hartl.name> wrote: > Anything I can do to help? > > Norbert > > Am 16.07.2013 um 14:05 schrieb Esteban Lorenzano <estebanlm(a)gmail.com>: > >> I'm working on it... still no solution, sorry. >> >> >> On Jul 16, 2013, at 12:43 PM, Norbert Hartl <norbert(a)hartl.name> wrote: >> >>> What is the latest status on this topic? What is the latest status on this topic? In the meantime (meaning I use the newest VM) I can reproduce it easily. Or better said I cannot use Versionner anymore because it triggers the problem in a few of my projects every time. Is there a status update? Does it make sense to find the smallest/least complex example that triggers the problem? Is it known if this happens only on pharo vms or also vanilla cog? thanks, Norbert

The only little problem is that Cairo pixel buffer (surface) is premultiplied with alpha (R*A, G*A, B*A, A) while Form is not (RGBA). And we don't have such blending rule in bitblt to combine pixels of such formats correctly. > All the examples are available on: > http://smalltalkhub.com/#!/~ronsaldo/roassal3d > You need to download first NBOpenGL to play with Roassal3d > > Cheers, > Ronie, Milton & Alexandre > > -- > _,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;: > Alexandre Bergel http://www.bergel.eu > ^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;. > > -- Best regards, Igor Stasenko.

I only have occasionally access to a Windows machine, but even then I am at a loss. This has to do with the Socket API at the VM level behaving slightly different, which impacts the open/close, connected/disconnected state of socket streams. There is also an API issue at the Pharo level: there is no clear differences between socket stream read or write channels with respect to being in either state (i.e. #atEnd is only for reading). Summary: I could use some help ;-) > - a chunkimport failure under win
