I've just realized there was the MultiColumnListModel. This one is more fun (ImageMorph fromStream:( ZnClient new beOneShot; url: 'http://www.gravatar.com/avatar'; addPathSegment: (ZnDigestAuthenticator md5Hash: 'marianopeck(a)gmail.com '); queryAt: #s put: '128'; queryAt: #d put: '404'; get) readStream) openInWorld uhhh but I cannot remove the morph from the world....damn it! Re: [Pharo-dev] [rmod] Link between Spec model and Morph ?

by Erwan Douaille

Hi, Does anyone can explain me how/where the link is ? I guess its related to AbstractSpec subclasses, but i don't know how does it work. I will be at lab the whole week. 2013/8/12 Clément Bera <clement.bera(a)minesdedouai.fr> A spec model (ComposableModel) has a window (WindowModel), this window has a window (SpecWindow), this window inherits from StandardWindow which inherits from SystemWindow which inherits from MorphicModel which inherits fromBorderedMorph which inherits from Morph Does that answer your question ? No :) I mean How the labelModel know than his morph is a LabelMorph ? -- Best regards, Douaille Erwan <douaille.erwan(a)gmail.com>

About SqNumberParser

by Stéphane Ducasse

Hi nicolas We would really like to have only one number parser in Pharo as well as handling the 1.0s syntax marcus raised a question that I could not answer. Do you habve nfrmation to share with us so that we can take a decision? Stef so the strange thing is that this is *explicitly* implemented in SqNumberParser to not allow 2.0s - do not allow single s without following digits as ScaledDecimal It is not explained why this is a good idea. In general, we need to merge the whole NumberParser hierarchy into one class, i don't understand why we have three classes now.

Questions about spec

by Clément Bera

Hey guys, How do you detect when the user scroll in an element of a window in spec ? I would like to use the event 'whenListScroll:' or something like that but I don't find it. How then can I set the scrolled value of another list to keep them in sync ? Lastly, is there a plan to create some kind of table in spec ? I mean a UI that looks like excel UI ? Thanks for any answers

[Amber] News from the last Amber team meeting

by Nicolas Petton

Hi guys, Here's a report of what was discussed on the Amber meeting yesterday. - Communication: It is obvious that we do not communicate enough outside of github or IRC about what's going on in Amber. It was decided that we will focus more on communication (thus this email ;-)). - Next release: Unlike it was initially planned, the next release of Amber won't be 1.0.0. There will probably be more intermediate releases. - Release cycles: It was decided that we will do more releases. We will try to embrace short release cycles. Releases will also be openly discussed on the mailing-list - Release process: The current release process is error-prone and involved a lot of small steps. To improve that we will in a first step write it down on the wiki, and try to automate it in the future - Matthias was introduced to the team - Next meeting in a month What is currently going on in Amber? - There is a huge work being done to make Amber load with an AMD (requirejs) - Helios is getting more attention to make it more stable and usable - The stepping debugger is going to be merged in master any time soon now and is basically working - The bootstrap JS file has been split into smaller and more understandable chunks Attendees: Nicolas Petton Manfred Kröhnert Herbert VojÄÃk Matthias Springer Excused: Göran Krampe Cheers, Nico
