But not so nice when the background process keeps on popping up debuggers. Lots of debuggers. So many, that it gets difficult to get access to the process browser to kill the loading process. As long as the proces ends and you donât run out of memory, you can then kill all open debuggers with some code like World submorphs select: [:each | (each respondsTo: #label) ifTrue: [each label beginsWith: 'Messageâ] ifFalse: [ false] ] thenDo: [:each | each close] And then you wait a few minutes for the debuggers to be closed. This wonât work when every nautilus browsers just runs in its own thread, as nearly all code in Pharo is not thraad-safe. Is the compiler reentrant? Or even woorse, is committing packages reentrant? >I was saying that theoretically it should not freeze the UI thread if you fork. How are you going to find the one thread that does something wrong and freezes the UI? Stephan

Searchbar in the browser

by Alexandre Bergel

Hi All, You may have noticed that Nautilus now has a search bar next to the list of packages. I personally find this extremely useful. This is the work of Juraj and he is interested in hearing your feedback. The textfield accepts regular expression. It means that entering âRoassalâ will display all the packages having the word âRoassalâ in it (e.g., RoassalExtra, ConfigurationOfRoassal). If I enter â^Roassalâ, it displays all the packages that begin with âRoassalâ. (e.g., RoassalExtra). Any idea how to make this feature more apparent? Anything else you want to see with the searching in the browser? Cheers, Alexandre -- _,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;: Alexandre Bergel http://www.bergel.eu ^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;.

Hi! I have planned to have some people on having Voronoi in Roassal in March. >> really simple 4 class side methods > > OK, I see that this can be in Pier syntax. No problem for me, but that does mean that weâll need a Pier parser and renderer in the base image, no ? Else tools will not be able to show this, right ? For the description and the keywords this is plain text. After the server is crawling the configurations and generating HTML using Pillar (now it is broken I have to check why). Note also that the fly by help of Nautilus shows this description as shown by guille a while ago. Nobody payed attention to this but this is really nice and supporting self documentation. stef
