Sounds good :P I will integrate it into Spec dev (I think itâs safer for now to not remove it into Pharo since itâs frozen) Ben On 12 Mar 2014, at 19:04, Laurent Laffont <laurent.laffont(a)gmail.com> wrote: > As far as I see, it seems safe to remove ComposableModel>>initialExtent .... There's no symbol table info in the executable for generated methods, so no. In those tools the data is just somewhere in memory, not ascribable to specific functions. Of course with my profiler I had to write that support. I don't know those other tools and so don't know if they allow import of labels to analyse jitted code. Brief googling seems to indicate that neither has support for labelling jitted code. Another is evolvability. That's what I said, yes ;-) -- best, Eliot

As far as I see, it seems safe to remove ComposableModel>>initialExtent .... Spec tests green, TWM tests green and I haven't seen any problem yet. What do you think ? Re: [Pharo-dev] [Pharo-users] Tiling Window Manager in 3.0: working but still issues with WorldMorph

by Laurent Laffont

Hi Phil, with latest ConfigurationOfTilingWindow manager World management (almost) works. Still a little display issue when creating a new world (need to change back and forth, seems to be some World repaint issue). I've also merged some experiments with GrowlMorph. Background: The SqueakSource image had grown to about 1GB in size due to a runaway Seaside connection, resulting in out of memory failures. I do not know the root cause, but it is possible that it was related to some DNS issues that we are currently dealing with on squeak.org. If anyone has made updates to user accounts in the last 10 hours or so (e.g. add a developer to an existing project), those changes will probably need to be re-entered. Dave

Call it marketing, sales, a store, a marketplace, the name does not matter a lot (but I agree, if no actual sales for money are involved, and it would not, the name should not be confusing). I matter exactly as much as your care about getting people confused and expectations broken So I fear for shoots in the foot
