Komitter does not display correctly

by Serge Stinckwich

In the last version of Pharo, Komitter does not work correctly. Modifications done under packages are not displayed. Apparently the problem appears at #30789: https://github.com/pharo-project/pharo-core/commit/802360955460a9a8d9284c87… I guess something related to this spec fix: https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/13040 Regards, -- Serge Stinckwich UCBN & UMI UMMISCO 209 (IRD/UPMC) Every DSL ends up being Smalltalk http://www.doesnotunderstand.org/

FileSystem-Git status update

by Max Leske

Hi everyone I promised to keep you posted about the progress, so here goes: - Esteban and I worked together yesterday and we got callbacks working - I will now do some cleanup so that its actually possible to work on libgit2 (some bindings have changed between versions 0.18 and 0.20 and I need to find out which) - Esteban and I will sit together again on Monday and prepare work for others / implement the object model on top of libgit2. I hope that we can separate tasks so that multiple people can work in parallel In my opinion we should be able to create local repositories, perform commits, switch branches and do checkouts by tuesday next week. Optimistically, fetch and push should also work by the end of the week. But thatâs really just conjecture and Iâll keep you all posted. Just a reminder: at the moment we are working to get Git running with NativeBoost *at all*. Plans for abstraction, Monticello <-> Git, Github etc. should certainly be discussed, but donât expect those things to be there at the end of next week. Max

Re: [Pharo-dev] EyeTreeInspector not ready for prime-time

by Clément Bera

Hello, EyeInspector>>#limit1 and limit2 are here to limit the size of collection shown. In the old inspector the limits were 100 and 10, which means you could see the first 100 and the last 10 elements. We put more in the EyeInspector because even for 100000 elements it was not lagging. But we didn't think about the size in memory, so I guess we should put back 100 and 10. 2014-03-13 23:22 GMT+01:00 phil(a)highoctane.be <phil(a)highoctane.be>: > Looks like there is some shared fun with ZnClient and https then :-) > > ... on my way to ZnNinja (slowly). > > Sven, HTTPComponents is really Ubercool! > > Phil > > On Thu, Mar 13, 2014 at 11:00 PM, Sebastian Sastre < > sebastian(a)flowingconcept.com> wrote: > >> On Mar 13, 2014, at 6:53 PM, phil(a)highoctane.be wrote: >> >> Not silly if what you do is creating a gateway that gets stuff back from >> a REST api and you need to figure out some parts of what you get back (and >> one things is a huge Base64-encoded file >> >> >> that actually happened to me a couple of times, yeah >> >> >> sebastian <https://about.me/sebastianconcept> >> >> o/ >> >> >> >> >> >> >
