ok next question . what kind of encoding does StreamSocket expects for incoming messages because it does not seem to accept the python encoding I also tried utf-8 with no success. Basically I encode a python string to a binary string. Is there a specific encoding for the bytes it expect in order to accept the incoming message ?

Thank you too! Perhaps the shortcuts could be added to the right side of label in the World menu? Just as it is done in the "right click" menu (whatever it's called) on selected text. Also, is there a shortcut for closing an active window? And/or cycling through them (Cmd+Tab or something)? You know at times I admire how stupid I can be. So the problem was not the fault of Blender , of Python or of Pharoâ. It was me , me and me :D I was reading the Python 2 docs on sending data via sockets when I should be reading the Python 3 docs , because Blender uses Python 3 and in Python 2 data is sent as string and in Python 3 data is sent as binary.All I had to do was to convert the string to a binary . A true, single source approach. Smalltalk as 10 000 - 100 000 lines of code in a single file. People recompiling a complete package each time they change a method. The real programming world, good to sell to companies :) We also need to look into making Smalltalk less efficient at code reuse. It's possible to write far too effective code in very few lines. Like that we would be able to increase our GitHub presence. I don't understand what "shared" means here . Are we talking about slots ? It looks to me very vague as a name .
