On Linux all the plug-ins are external so you need to move the entire directory tree. On Windows it's a single file as all plugins are built internally. I've followed the lead of the main VM maintainers for each platform for this. I can modify how these VMs are packaged if something else is more convenient. Bryce

A standard VM with the extensions required to run Exupery, a JIT written in Smalltalk. You're not going to notice the Exupery extensions unless you also load the compiler into the image and start it running. Bryce

I apoligize if this has been answered before. I have the latest core. I am trying to load Seaside. First I went to builder.seaside.st and built a script. I chose the core components, Seaside-Adaptors-Commanche and the Seaside examples. Next I filed this into Pharo. Next I filed in KomHttpServer-michael_rueger.45.mcz from the inbox. I started the Seaside server after giving it a port number. Is this procedure correct? For GLASS, the work involved adapting the debugger commands to the GemStone Process/Context model. In GLASS, the debugger runs on the server-side and we use Morphic on the client-side to display all of the OB windows, so it wasn't necessary to anything (okay just a bit of process fiddling:) to get the Debugger windows to display on the remote client. For Hydra, I would think that remote access to the process/context model would be the ticket - and this would be straightforward with the OTDebugger. With that said, I'm not too familiar with the inter-vm communication model. If I had another debugger to do, I would definitely start with the OTDebugger:) Dale

Actually, I think it's ok for yaxo (which I think is XMLSupport)... Loading is ok, but I have failing tests (I did a bad initialization)... so I need to load it again to have a better idea. I join the sar in case some others want to try.
