Strange, I have a different behavior on my machine (OSX): - I open a fresh Pharo0.1Core-10281cl, execute ScriptLoader loadOBAlpha, everything goes as expected - I open a fresh Pharo0.1Core-10281cl, update the system, execute ScriptLoader loadOBAlpha, I get a rollback (cf my previous email) Am i the only one? Thanks John! Maybe issue 370 and 513 are fixed now. I retested 370 and it works on my Mac. Hi Damien, VM clean download from [1] image clean download from [2] Source file download from [3] Extract the files into one directory and update the system so 11 new updates processed (gives you Pharo #10292). File in the attached changeset with the image builder, answer OK twice when asked and wait ... When you run it without an update (old #10281) it's faster. Havent had time to look deeper. [Pharo-project] [ANN] Aida/Web 6.0 second beta is out!

Dear Smalltalkers, That time with a considerable more fresh meat and on both Squeak+friends and VisualWorks, a second beta of Aida/Web 6.0 web framework and application server is released. To download it visit our renewed website http://www.aidaweb.si With that beta we also changed the direction: now the 6.0 won't be just a companion of Scribo CMS but a standalone release with support of tree-like control flow, so that this release will really deserve a major number jump from 5.6 to 6.0. Here are just 3 most important new features in that beta: 1.Introduction of web execution contexts as a step towards tree-like control flow. These contexts give a scope to the "execution" of web request and are the precondition for controlling this flow of execution. 2.Translation support for text on the web apps, to allow the multilingual text on the pages, besides multilingual content, 3.Caching (memcached like) to improve performance of serving the content, which otherwise doesn't change frequently. You need to load DynamicBindings-damiencassou.9 and KomHttpServer-damiencassou.47, as well as all the latest Seaside code from the repository. Older versions might miss class extensions in BlockClosure. I have many MOTU products and it seems many of them use it. http://www.libnui.net/ You can buy a commercial license: http://www.libnui.net/pages/licensing.php It may well be worth asking them if they'll do a special license given that Smalltalk is by nature mostly open source. Usage only is not that critical. Interfacing is somewhat different.
