That's great, Marcus. Lots of code depends on the compiler for dynamic evaluation, including compilers that translate other languages to ST (like the XPath lib), so a faster compiler isn't insignificant. I know optimizing it takes time and probably isn't a high priority, but we could at least commit to not allowing it to get slower.
