Cheap/free Seaside site hosting (urgent)?

Hello there. Iâve just finished a website which, aside from a simple storage in Mongo/Voyage permanence layer, is otherwise very small and simple. But Seaside Hosting and Pharo Cloud are down, and international transactions are impossible in Digital Ocean. My country doesnât have any of the less complex cloud storages, making it all more difficult. At this point, Iâm willing to pay 17 dollars (max I have now) so that someone sets the image up for me at a DO droplet only once, as the app is technically static. This is urgent because the site is an effort to find a job (as a portfolio), and I donât have any additional money for nothing fancier. If no one can do that, what are the alternatives?

Thanks, Jannik for the report. I have reproduced the problem and got the same results. Originally I had the same idea that Stef that the problem was with the machine code generation logic, but this logic is in the VM DLL and not in the executable, so it is not. I will do more tests to generate different versions of the VM to see if there is a problem of compilations or a piece of code that looks suspicious. I want to do a pass before reporting it as a false positive. I keep you updated. hello Jannik I hope that you are getting well. We can only support such installation :) Now I do not think that we ship the exe with a virus but we will check. The problem is that Pharo VM produces assembly code and probably that Kaspersky is thinking that this is a virus. I think that we will have to have a way to assess whether an installation is exactly the one we deliver. Summary: SelectorTable improvements

Hi, Here is a short summary of all the improvements related to the SelectorTable (which allows the tools to quickly check if a symbol is used as a selector): - It is reset at image build (#cleanUp) - re-creating is fast (#bench shows '16.902 per second' on my machine for rebuildSelectorTable) (we can even think about resetting it on #shutDown: now) - Recording happens at method installation, not compilation - this means we call it far less on code loading - not called anymore for doIts and FFI method creation - optimized: #isSelectorSymbol is ~3.5 times faster in Pharo11 compared to Pharo10 - most speedup due to using a identity dictionary, avoiding costly string comparing - all users of #findInternedSelector: have been changed to send #isSelectorSymbol to the symbol - #findInternedSelector: will be deprecated Marcus
