Seaside on minimal Pharo 7.0

Hi, I was successfully able to run Seaside on the minimal Pharo 7.0. After the release cleanup the resultant image has about 12.4 MiB. The loading script expects that in the working directory you have the Pharo repository clone (in a floder named 'pharo'). You should modify the loading script to point to your real Pharo repository clone. This clone is needed to load SUnit into the minimal image. You should have PharoV60.sources reachable from the image. The Seaside is loaded from my fork (github://pavel-krivanek/Seaside:minimalPharo/repository). I had to create a modified version because the original baseline broke the ZincHTTPComponents. The strange line: Smalltalk vm parameterAt: 25 put: (Smalltalk vm parameterAt: 25) * 50. ...sets the garbage collector. Without this the Seaside loading can fail on insufficient object memory. wget -O - http://get.pharo.org/70-minimal | bash pharo Pharo.image loadSeaside.st --save --quit pharo Pharo.image startSeaside.st --no-quit Starting of the image takes about 0.1 s on my machine. Most important part of the inclusion of [tonel](https://github.com/pharo-vcs/tonel) as the default file format, but there are a lot of small changes and bugfixes. It will be integrated soon into Pharo 7.0a and the [README](https://github.com/pharo-vcs/iceberg/blob/master/README.md) has instructions to explain you how to update Pharo 6.1 images. 5 October 2017: --------------- * I've been working on release Iceberg 0.6, and we are almost there... but I decided to restore green tests on travis before moving on. Test have been failing since a lot of time as is moment to get back to appropriate software policies :) 3 October 2017: --------------- * I just submited a PR to fix [case: 18849](https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/18849) to update Metacello to latest version. This will prepare things to integrate Iceberg 0.6. 2 October 2017: --------------- * Finally, I got latest version of Metacello to work on Pharo correctly. I wish there was a solution on a Macbook pro - although with Bloc continuing to forge ahead we get closer and closer. I hadnât realised that not only is it blurry when it uses pixel doubling - but you also get a smaller workspace as well. I happened to take a copy of an image and run it on an older MacBook Air and was amazed to see that the workspace only took up 3/4 of the screen on the air, and so I could make it bigger and see more (more clearly as well). Its a problem that we really need to solve universally.
