Our vision: Self-Adaptive IDEs

Hi guys, I uploaded a web page to explain Self-Adaptive IDEs, the vision I will develop for my Ph.D http://www.inf.usi.ch/phd/minelli/self-adaptive-ides/index.html. Please take a minute to look at it and tell me your opinion! At the moment we are conducting an experiment with my interaction profiler (DFlow). It would be great if you could participate! This will cost you little effort but help me to gather an understanding of development practices and interactions. This is the ground for improving our Pharo IDE! For me pull means that you move from a subclass to a class while push is from a class to its superclass. Now it depends on it is implemented. Note that these refactorings were implemented long before the book (excellent BTW - I enjoyed reviewing it and martin told me that our reviews were excellent and forcing him to improve it). Sven, maybe get the output of otool -l /path/to/lib and compare the paths to linked libraries to the ones found in the plugin of the failing job. There might be a problem with the location of certain libraries. I think âpushâ makes more sense than âpullâ since the operation is performed on the class where the method resides and not the one it will end up in. It could be caused by a change in how FFI finds/opens libraries, or it could be as silly as a library version change on the target system (libcrypto.so.9.8.x vs librypto.so.1.0.1 or something such), but I don't really remember whether we look for specific version or whether we expect the generic library name 'libcrypto.so' to resolve.
