How I feel

Hi guys I want to share how I feel with you. I feel like a guy trying to run 100 m competition against JS, Ruby, Python, Luaâ¦ and have shoes like that http://www.google.fr/imgres?start=159&client=safari&rls=en&biw=1244&bih=690… What a wonderful community we have. I understand now deeply the quote: âtake care of my enemys I will care of my âfriendsââ or the inverse So we as a Pharo community will have to really think about our future and what we want to achieve because this is important No need to reply. PS: Iâm the one that invited Gilad to give a presentation to ESUG at Amsterdam and invited to our lab and gilad was the positive reviewer of our inria team for the one that got a really short memory.

:) Sorry, not very serious but still: "Newspeak is a new programming language *in the tradition of Self and Smalltalk*" [http://newspeaklanguage.org/] "Pharo is a clean, innovative, open-source *Smalltalk-inspired environment*" [http://www.pharo-project.org/home] Should we ban Pharo projects because it's not Smalltalk, but only "Smalltalk-inspired"? I guess Ruby can also call itself Smalltalk-inspired? According to these definitions, Newspeak is even more Smalltalk-ish then Pharo :) And seriously, I think we discuss something else, not what Janko wanted to say... But anyway, I think we should simply stop this discussion now, and concentrate on our objectives (GSoC and others). So I created a little class: called CatalogAdder for you and me :P I'm a simple utility class that add methods to ConfigurationOf class to declare catalog metadata. What I noticed is that some parts are using the Theme but the only theme that provides them is the Watery one. So, the rest looks like hardcoded. Esteban, do you have some kind of changeset ?
