Reportedly, in Chrome OS, if you want to run Pharo you need to start the OS in development mode and install a micro linux kernel. Compiling to NaCl would be interesting because Pharo could run on chrome OS in non development mode and without the linux kernel. But I guess there might be some work on other primitives / plugins. I think JB was looking into that with Olivier Auverlot at some point. Google Chrome Native Client Technology and PharoVM

https://developer.chrome.com/native-client provides support for running native stuff inside the browser (a kind of VMWare inside the browser). It would make sense to have Pharo running that way. Is there anyone looking into this? Phil

I can see this becoming a popular tool. So the load on STHub is important. Is there some load log to monitor? Maybe some caching on STHub with static files would be useful. Names wont change that often. For me [HubClient new alluserNames] timeToRun --> 4.3 seconds (though maybe thats the network from Australia, could someone closer report their result?)

Nice! I like being able to quickly search for someone and see their projects. Useful extensions would be: - Teams and their projects - My teams - Sorting mczs I think I'd prefer the menu location to be with Configuration Browser When I type moose<enter> there is an exception. There is an empty Array somewhere where you expect an OrderdCollection. I don't understand why the delay in the response from smalltalkhub is always so large. Stephan

[ANN] Hubcap - a SmalltalkHub API and browser for Pharo
