Hi, I just noticed a that we have a little fork in the Pharo repo: version 25 and 26 both are based on version 24. See below. Yes, loading .shp is mandatory for GIS features. I don't know how it matches with your GPS project or it's complementary with your Athens/Roassal implementation. I hope so because it would be a real open door for GIS developers. I have updated the packages and added an install script.
