Hi, I am playing with spec hit some issues with TextModel>>setSelection: First, unlike any other method in TextModel, setSelection: only has an effect if you call it after sending openWithSpec to the model. This is because it sets the selection directly on the morph widget. Second if you set the selection and widget hasn't got the focus it won't have any visual effect. This is because it uses PluggableTextMorph>>selectionInterval: which just updates the interval without doing any visual update. So shall we classify these as bugs? Cheers, Andrei

[Pharo-project] Zinc-SSO OAuth2 Google offline access

After some struggle to understand OAuth2 and Google Calendar API, I managed to insert a calendar entry. Now, I want to be able to manipulate the calendar, without the user being logged on, in their browser - which is "offline" access according to the Google docs [1] (I'm not sure whether this is an OAuth2 feature, or a Google API feature). I noticed that the ZnGoogleOAuth2Session is coded for "online" access. Should I start coding a ZnGoogleOAuth2OfflineSession - is this the right approach? What's the best way to contribute the code - just make changes in Zinc-SSO-OAuth2-Core package, for later merging? [1] https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2WebServer

In theory now it should work like in the current debugger. Also now in the spec interface I get some very strange bugs that are not in the glamour one. Somehow some things do not update ok. SmalltalkHub needs to offer a way for a member to request commit rights. The request is submitted to owner(s) of the project for approval. The request should include full name, user name and I think also the users image initials or name. I could not find such a feature anywhere. This would eliminate email exchanges as currently required. I think since SmalltalkHub is for Smalltalk code and we enter our initials or name when we save an image and these initials are a part of our monticello archives. It would be nice if these initials were part of our information. Just some thoughts. Jimmie
