[Pharo-project] One-click Windows comment

I set up the regular Pharo (since I managed to get that instead of the one-click), then decided to try the actual one-click. The previous one-click had a Windows shortcut ".lnk" whereas this one uses a batch file. The former is preferable, as the batch file opens a console window and leaves it open. You can close it--but that's not always the case in Windows. I created a link by using "Create shortcut" on CogVM and then copying the parameter out of the batch file, and pasting it into the "Target": [yourPharoDriveAndDir\]CogVM.exe Contents\Resources\Pharo-1.4-one-click.image ===Blake===

Fernando, Is that arquitecture enable the possibility of testing an UI application? i.e. is it possible to feed the application with fake events and wait for the results? [Pharo-project] we need more objects!

No more HandMorph taking care of everything! I found a use case for the reification of the user interface in Gaucho. In Gaucho, i have a user interface, which has attached peripherals: such as displays, mouse, keyboard, etc... And each peripheral takes care of the proper event, dispatched by the user interface ( which receives the VM events). With this scheme, you have more flexibility because you can plug/unplug peripheral devices as needed. For example, i'm coding a Gaucho Login Display. that presents the available sessions . I decided to use only keyboard based navigation, so to disable the mouse i simply unplug the mouse from the user interface ( as opposed to hack my way around HandMorph or PasteUpMorph). And i wanted to thank Igor for designing such a nice framework! People should start to use Athens, apps around Pharo would start be look waaaayyy cooler. Shortly, i will prepare a video on Gaucho as well, showcasing a zoomable user interface built on top of Athens. Gaucho is the first user of Athens, but we hope many more projects adopt it. ATTENTION: Before entering the port cairo install command, I've had to manually install appleGcc4.2, found @ [1] (file name gcc-42-5666.3-darwin11.pkg. Given that i have Lion, XCode4.2, and if you just allow macports to build appleGcc4.2, it will run a process that consumes resources and finally stalls your computer!
