[Pharo-project] TextAttribute, TextAction and TextDoIt or TextURL: not working

I've been investigating with text. I found things that do work like: ((Text withAll: 'foo') , (Text string: '*' attribute: (TextAnchor new anchoredMorph: EllipseMorph new)) , (Text withAll: 'bar')) asMorph openInWorld. ((Text withAll: 'foo') , (Text string: '*' attribute: (TextAnchor new anchoredMorph: ThemeIcons confirmIcon)) , (Text withAll: 'bar')) asMorph openInWorld. But doing: ((Text withAll: 'foo') , (Text string: 'some link' attribute: (TextURL new url:'http://philippeback.eu')) , (Text withAll: 'bar')) asMorph openInWorld. gives me a nice purple 'some link' bit but clicking on it fails with MessageNotUnderstood: TextURL>>actOnClick:for:in:editor: Damn! Ideas on how to tackle this? TIA Philippe Back

Ok. Thanks. Loaded and working. Kind of a different beast than what was in 1.3 Noticed that 1.4 has somewhat streamlined the PluggableTextMorph and underlying machinery. Good. Still fighting all of the gears to grasp it properly. Question: How can I have a PluggableTextMorph containing clickable text (e.g. including things like button morphs in the text)? I used TextAttribute on Text and got some results but having morphs in the text eludes me. I know this was doable in Squeak at one point and wondered what was left in Pharo. Also, There were ways to have bold text, underline etc. I see the SHTextStylerST80 for getting colors along with SHParserST80 but nothing is clickable in there, unlike it was in Squeak (this was useful for navigating in class comments etc). What are the current limitations and possibilities? first load ConfigurationOfNewECompletion (via the configurationBrowser). Second we will see if we can clean OCompletion to make it work with ECompletion instead of breaking it. We could ship the old and ugly version but we will see if we can make both happily work together. Hello, I am a smalltalk neophyte and I have nothing super constructive to add other than I recently dipped my toe into smalltalk, and stumbled on Pharo. Cog + a streamlined fork of squeak? Count me in! I started to work through PBE, but I just could not get over the font issue. On my massive screen, I needed a magnifying glass to read the size 9 font, and the colon issue made it impossible for me to tell if I had placed a colon or not. I discovered how to bump the font up to 12, but it still was not very readable. Sven's example above looks awesome.
