Yes I would like to have a bit the same than in wiskher browser and see multiple method definitino In O2 there was such possibility but only vertically (you could pin a method pane when you did not want its method to get replace by another one). [Pharo-project] Zinc HTTPS

I'm working on the various GitProtocols, amongst them is the normal HTTP version which in popular cases (like github) requires the SSL version. So is there somewhere an SSL version for Zinc? (even partially working ;) cheers cami

Maybe another use would be to serialize a complete context when handling errors at runtime. Instead of having just a error.log/walkback.log/foo.errors file you could have the whole context. It's not like having the debugger right there when it happened, but it's closer to that. yes but the Alien chapter is more or less empty currently. I started long time ago and I will have to write it once. Initially I wanted to described the most advanced FFI mechanism that exists for Pharo. I thought it was Alien because it supports callbacks. But after I learnt that FFI callout was better (BTW it seems that the NativeBoots callout is even better). But FFI did not support callback (it seems it is not the case anymore). But a good FFI should also supports re-entrance and multi-threading. It is implemented somewhere thanks to Eliot. I do not remember the details: which VM? which Plugin? restrictions on OS? At the end it is difficult to explain all of that and make it work if you not spent lot of time on it. I think that we should merge every working and important part into only 1 good FFI library. I cannot open Nautilus. I have an error with a sorting collection or something like that. I use Pharo 1.4. I tried with the version 3.1 and 3.4 of RPackage.
