Hmm, when I download Pharo 1.3 using http://www.pharo-project.org/pharo-download/unstable-core and run the tests the image just hangs ... First, #nextFromStream: returns a character, not a String. Second, you have to encode before you decode, don't you ? UTF8 is a binary encoding of Unicode characters. [Pharo-project] how can I get bit representation of numbers

Hi guys I thought that printStringBase: 2 would do the trick but it only works for positive number. I would like to see the two complement representation of numbers. So I implemented something like that but I wonder if this is correct. | v | v := 10. [Pharo-project] UTF converter fails to read tildes and Ã±

I've written the following test, which is failing. testReadÃ±Character | converter | converter := UTF8TextConverter new. self assert: 'Ã±' equals: (converter nextFromStream: 'Ã±' readStream). I attach a changeset with that test. Am I ok or UTF8TextConverter is behaving wrong? Thanks, Guille

I did some stuff with SVG in Squeak based around the Balloon engine. Too slow, better off with getting Rome/Cairo softed in Pharo!
