I checked what you did and I think that you did the hardest part. if you plug a VW like window spec and builder (which is not that complex compared to what you did then you would have a really cool UIBuilder). I try it. Its work same as with 15 leading char. All good. I found another issue without this change (clean Pharo 1.1 rc2 10.06). Just open workspace and write and edit non latin (russian) multiline text. You will see strange happens. I do not see why 3d is different from 2d.
