It is a dictionary for speed reasons. A user might trigger trigger thousands of events per seconds and iterating through large flat lists can be very slow if there are many handlers. Generally when using event handling (or the observer pattern in general) one should not rely on order. Thats would be very fragile, because anybody might register its own event handlers at any time. In your example I suggest that you only register the more generic handler and dispatch to the more specific handler in your own code. No, Shout is not even enabled in the class comment. Did you try loading all the latest code? Hello, I started to add a log to Autotest to view the list of ran tests. I added a new button in the Dashboard, it open a new window with a PluggableListMorph in it. I have then many questions : - what information should we display in this list ? - I feel we might need to empty the log sometimes so I would add a Â«CleanÂ» or Â«EmptyÂ» button in Log window, is this OK ? - I think we should give a maximum size to the log as it could become very large, what would be a meaningful max size ? should it go to a preference ? Hi pavel. This is excellent :) Now, it would be cool to document how to use it. And even more, the scenarios where it can be useful. For example, suppose I deploy a headless PharoCore image with seaside, should I replace the UIManager with the Dummy ? what do I save? how can I do that? I think http://book.pharo-project.org/ is excellent for this. If you want to write something please let me know and I make you an user. I have the same problem. I am trying to edit for example the class comment of ImageSegment. I can type a hole word, and wait 2 seconds until it appears written. I tried in both Pharo1.0 dev and Pharo 1.1 dev. and in both I see the problem. However, the same doesn't happen in a core image. I thought it could be the fonts, but in 1.1 we are using the same fonts for the core and the dev. So I don't know :( I am using OB-Refactory-lr.213.
