So how do the Linux binary only distros work then? I'm sure I've seen the choice, oh load the binaries, or pull and compile the source as choices in Ubuntu? Why bother making one-click apps with Linux VM if everyone ignores them? Or is this an 80/20 rule? Well 5.0 is still in Alpha. Feedback is slow, so the issue is how to drive acceptance? The problem with the 64bit VM with 32bit images is that all the plugins have to be recompiled. Mind I did do the FreeType one. However I was thinking that we could run the 5.0 VM in 32bit mode and use the existing plugins to minimize impact. Did I miss something? > No, normally the only thing to do is to declare such a method on the class side. I tried your #menuCommandOn: and the world menu is updated as it should be. Is the entire world menu corrupted or only the #Tools submenu ? We made a package with several random number generators available on SqueakSource: http://www.squeaksource.com/Random.html I dunno what are your needs exactly but there is gaussian random generator.
