I read Stef comment before trying it out. I agree with Stef. Few additional comments: - When I develop an application, which pane should be the default one? Package or Group? Group I feel. Maybe a different ordering will make this clearer. Group, Hierarchy, Packages. - I feel the word Group a bit misleading. It does not say much actually, especially since I am intended to use it all the time. No better name to propose although. - Going from Group to hierarchy, and hierarchy -> Group does not preserve the selection. This is a crucial point in my opinion. - I feel the browser is a bit slower than before Good job! [Pharo-project] Baseline test results

I have uploaded my cs to generate baseline test results here: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=954 and linked it off the wiki http://code.google.com/p/pharo/wiki/BaselineTestResults. Anyone with write access to the wiki is welcome to run the tests in new images / updates and post the results. Anyone with time on their hands can also fill in the history! It is almost automated. See the issue for a todo list; you can also post comments there. If anyone is interested in reviewing or improving please do. Perhaps this could be run as new pre-built images are uploaded to the download area? thanks, Mike

[Pharo-project] Pharo-Dev/web Image slowness

Hi, I recently downloaded the latest Pharo Dev and Web images, and also the 2.8.4 one-click (which seems to be based on the Pharo image and VM too). And I found out that its performance is terrible, it takes forever (you perceive the delay) to open a browser, browse senders, change a method selection on the OB or even do a "print-it" on a workspace. However when accessing seaside through the web UI, it's blazing fast. Which makes me think there is something which is not working as it should. As a side note, I downloaded the latest Cuis image from http://www.jvuletich.org/Cuis/Index.html, and its amazingly fast. Â¿Am I missing something? Best regards, Esteban A. Maringolo
