[Pharo-project] Some bugs with the last version of pharo (10281) and pharo-dev (10284)

Hi all, I would like to use the new version of pharo but I have some bugs: Pharo-dev: - When I open for the first time the latest version of pharo-dev, it is impossible to use the copy-paste command Pharo and pharo-dev: - it is impossible to open a Monticello browser because of an error "invalid utf8 input detected" - in the workspace of pharo-dev, there is the same error when I would like to run this line in a workspace: Installer monticello http: 'http://www.squeaksource.com'; project: 'Moose'; install: 'MooseLoader'. I use the last VM (4beta1). There is a mistake in update. This method is redundant. The problem is solved by simply removing that method. A method in base class (InputEventFetcher ) works with default 10 ms delays. Ok, in order to this I had to install Postgresql. I didn't want to install this on my main development machine so I choose to install it on a powerpc iMac I have for testing. I used MacPorts and did the postgresql and postgresql-server installation sudo port install \ postgresql83 \ postgresql83-server I then created a default database, check the output of the port install to confirm these copied values are correct. sudo mkdir -p /opt/local/var/db/postgresql83/defaultdb sudo chown postgres:postgres /opt/local/var/db/postgresql83/defaultdb sudo su postgres -c '/opt/local/lib/postgresql83/bin/initdb -D /opt/ local/var/db/postgresql83/defaultdb' I then had to edit pg_hba.conf to allow for local subnet access, and edit postgresql.conf to allow for listening on all network interfaces. I also had to alter the admin user 'postgresql' to have a password. The http://www.pgadmin.org/download/macosx.php admin config app was helpful in all this, well I did do the edit of /opt/local/var/db/postgresql83/defaultdb files via sudo vi because it's rwx user postgresql only.... This then let me run the 21 tests to completion from my development MacIntel machine. I then copied the 4.0.1b1 VM and the image/changes to the PowerPC imac and ran the tests again They all ran. So this points to either a problem unique to hosting postgresql on an MacIntel machine and running the tests on the same machine, or there is some other problem. It would be helpful if someone else could confirm or deny the problem using such a configuration (local db, local pharo app Note the postgresql log spews, I would think the tests should be nicer? [Pharo-project] Browsing code files with prettyPrint

What I did: Navigate with a file to a .st file, click on the button "browse", select a method. With "browseWithPrettyPrint" enabled. This applies both to recent Pharo and a Squeak3.10-closures image.
