Gary, Some time ago, Object Arts added opening events to Dolphin's tools, and I wrote a simple example that I really like: it plays a random sound clip on opening a debugger. As you said, the clips themselves are an IP nightmare, but it would be a nice thing to be able to do w/o hacking into the debugger itself. Bill Wilhelm K. The .cs I posted eariler is a start. Mostly about changing buttons to the use the PluggableButtonMorphPlus variety, supporting enablement rather than using on/off colours and associated use of #adoptPaneColor: which is heavily used in Polymorph to achieve theme specific effects. OB can be tricky with frame/border colours due to the fact that building of the morphs is entirely model based until actual opening of the window. Some themes support model colours as a basis of course (indirectly through the window paneColor), the Watery ones are specifically designed to enforce a standard colour set. [Pharo-project] Polymorph sound theme

Any interest in having some concrete sound themes via Polymorph? Default is "no sound" at present. Mostly no examples due to effort required to produce open-source friendly copyright sound clips. Currently supported are window events (open/close/restore-up/restore-down/minimise/maximise) plus specific support for dialog window opening (abort/alert/deny/message/question). FM synthesis is, of course, an option. Sound themes are orthogonal to the ui theme in use. Regards, Gary.

Hello all, Watery 2 is starting to grow on me. My own quirks include a tendency to mess with fonts (I find mono-spaced is best for code, and I use the smallest font that is comfortable for me), and background colors (reducing contrast and hence eye strain). As long as those changes work, everybody should be able to have what they want. I recommend enabling fast dragging by default; I would add do-its to the intro text to turn it on and off. In my experience, it looks nice, but it is slow; I prefer the more responsive option. Re speed, I recently noted that the newest images loaded into a frozen state on Windows. Yesterday, I noted that I was using a very old VM, grabbed the one from 3.10, and all was well. I have not tried a side-by-side comparison, but my sense is that the new images are faster than the old image I am still using (mostly because everything I need is in it and it works).
