Me and the HostSystemMenusMacOSX are specializations of HostSystemMenusProxy. We know how to answer to #isActiveHostMenuProxyClass, which is used by HostSystemMenus class>>activeMenuProxyClass to determine the active menu. That's why I don't have direct references.
