PPA for Ubuntu X11
Hi, Does the PPA only takes care of the headless dependencies? I expected pharo-vm-desktop to also load an X display driver (12.04.2 server) Stephan

The pharo-vm-desktop package should give you a pharo-vm-x executable that should be able to launch an image in a window. Can you please give me more details about your problem? I'm on the #pharo IRC channel. -- Damien Cassou http://damiencassou.seasidehosting.st "Success is the ability to go from one failure to another without losing enthusiasm." Winston Churchill

Basically I would agree. But it isn't as easy at this. If you say "an X display driver" which one do you mean? There is a big difference if load Xvnc server or a full X11 server environment. So that would need alternative packages so pharo-vm-desktop can depend on the umbrella alternative package. But I don't know if there is one. Would need some research first. Norbert
