You can install 32-bit run-time libraries on your 64-bit Linux to run 32-bit Pharo. I'm still running Pharo 5 and 6 images that way. However, Pier on Pharo 1.3 is ancient by Internet time scale and you are unlikely to get much help if/when you run into problems.
