Yes; John told me about it in August, and I merged around September / October.

Both SmaCC repositories have exactly the same runtime; if you are not writing a parser, there is no reason to choose one or the other. They differ in the development part, and some/most of the differences are a matter of style.

But, yes, it is possible to merge. Both are open, and the github SmaCC repository could also count as a test-case for Iceberg :)
