Hello,

The build scripts were broken:

https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/20855/bin-is-a-file-not-a-directory-in-the-6-1-distribution-for-Linux

We have fixed them and the .zip download should now work better.

In addition, I have started to improve the installation instructions and added the description
how to install on debian/ubuntu/centos via packages:
https://pharo.org/gnu-linux-installation-64

More improvements to come...

There are no installation instructions in the README.  If you execute ./pharo at the top level:

pharo6.1-64/vm/pharo: No such file or directory

In directory tmp if you add

ln -s ../shared/Pharo6.1-64.image Pharo.image

and execute ./pharo in tmp, then it works.
