Johan Brichau and others are working on a new ConfigurationOf for Pharo 2.0 and Seaside 3.0 / 3.1 [1]. I think Seaside 3.0.8. is already working in Pharo 2.0.

The latest ConfigurationOf package is probably only available in the Seaside repository yet.
