I had to reinstall pharo-laucher, to be able to get pharo 5 image. Also it seems the problem with the missing changes file still is there. Thanks for the help.

Damien was so kind to forward your mail - I updated the pharo-launcher
package, an apt-get upgrade should install the new package.
