Thanks to all of you for the tests.
It is surprising how average speed can differ from a server to another according to the region.
As Marcus, we will moved files.pharo.org on a server rented by the Pharo consortium (cloud provider).
We hope to have better stability, we will add SSL and people outside Inria could manage it if they want.
Last but not least, it will solve issues with travis CI builds.
