I think we need a better bug report, for me (Mac OS X) this works fine:

$ ./pharo Pharo.image eval 'FileStream stdout nextPutAll: 42 factorial asString; cr. #done' > out.txt

$ cat out.txt
1405006117752879898543142606244511569936384000000000
#done

So, what exactly is not working ?
