What is the hard deadline on release? There are now 24 issues, up from 15. Also, most if not all the original 15 are still there. Are all these really show-stoppers for 2.0? We're going to have 2 bug-fix releases in 2.0 - could any be handled there? Maybe it's time to make some tough choices here. All this is especially true for the 15 that seem hard to complete.
