[Pharo-project] [ANN] Icons for Mac users
I don't know who did the icons.
That was me - I used Samuel's logos as a base. I once created them for page 15 (figure 1.1.) of the pharo-by-example book where image, source, etc. files are introduced and made them available via gforge to Oscar Nierstrasz for inclusion in the book. Unfortunately he decided he wanted to have the windows icons, so I made a screenshot of the (IMHO more ugly) win icons which are now included as figure 1.1 in the book. Thanks for the conversion, at least they are used now. Bye T. -- GRATIS für alle GMX-Mitglieder: Die maxdome Movie-FLAT! Jetzt freischalten unter http://portal.gmx.net/de/go/maxdome01

Thanks Torsten. This is really nice to see people with a good aesthetic feeling. I use your icons. Cheers, Alexandre On 7 Jan 2010, at 18:26, Mariano Martinez Peck wrote:

I was playing with adding a bit of shadow so that the icon stand out. may be people with better tools can produce something better. Stef
That's cooler, but you put a white background instead of transparency :( To convert a picture (png) for examplte to icns you can use the tool img2icns cheers 2010/1/8 Stéphane Ducasse <stephane.ducasse@inria.fr>

At least the body of the lighthouse should be white, otherwise it looks strange on dark background

Hi: The icon for the images, and probably also the changes icon (which is not used for some reason on my machine) would benefit from a transparent background. At the moment, they have a white frame instead of a clean (white) pice of paper on a transparent background. Best Stefan On 08 Jan 2010, at 19:27, Mariano Martinez Peck wrote:
