I was thinking exactly in ask permit to use this one (and other similars) to present Pharo in other contexts, for example in localgroups, etc.
Normally all my talks are CC non-commercial share-alike... only that I often forget to put it in the slides...
That's perfectly allowed and even more, a ppt/keypoint template should be available. 2 days ago Marcus borrowed this one for my PhD first year evaliuation ;)

Why are there two packages to do essentially the same thing? They both seem to be maintained but presumably there are fans of each. I'm looking to build a higher level facility to conveniently access the foreign world, and wondering which to base it on. Any thoughts appreciated. ../Dave

IIRC it is historical. FFI has been around for a long time and is proven - AFAIK for example the whole OpenGL interfacing in Croquet/Teleplace is done using FFI. Alien is newer stuff and still being worked on I think, and if I am not entirely mistaken is actually complimentary? Someone with better knowledge can surely fill in. regards, Göran
