Indeed, much better. I keep on forgetting that :). Doru On Apr 3, 2013, at 3:25 PM, Sven Van Caekenberghe <sven@stfx.eu> wrote:

Me too! Really cool service :) I just made a config and uploaded to sqs and ss3/meta...for...20 Gofer it squeaksource: 'MetacelloRepository'; package: 'ConfigurationOfSharedWorkspace'; load. (or load via the configuration browser) n.b. I didn't address Sven's note to update Zinc on 1.4 ----- Cheers, Sean -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/how-to-load-from-STHub-at-pharoconf-tp4679416p4679426.... Hey Sean, Thanks a lot: this was on my todo list, but I kept not doing it ! It is really important to be able to load stuff with one click. Sven
n.b. I didn't address Sven's note to update Zinc on 1.4
That is not really necessary, it is from long ago. It is also good that you did not put in a full Zn dependency.

I updated the Getting Started Workspace: http://ws.stfx.eu/1WS4U to reflect the existence of the ConfigurationOfSharedWorkspace. On 03 Apr 2013, at 16:39, Sven Van Caekenberghe <sven@stfx.eu> wrote:

Just a random idea... (Not for implementing any time soon, just sharing) It might be cool if Configuration Browser items could be linked to status on a CI server, displaying a smiley or weather icon next to the item. Those items would tend to draw more user attention and be an incentive for developers to get a green job on the Contribution CI server. cheers -ben
what will happen (eventually) is that all the configurations in the "verified" panel will pass an acceptance test before be placed there. but since conceptually CI is more or less opposite to "Stable Release", I don't think that a marriage between them would be cool (also, that would mean that we need a CI process for each project in configs browser, and I frankly don't see that happening) Esteban On Apr 4, 2013, at 2:49 AM, Ben Coman <btc@openInWorld.com> wrote:

Hi Sven, if you want to advertise your service, you could set up something like workspace.st or pastebin.st. And then, you could add a huge "NEW" button on the welcome page, because people don't want to read all this text before finding the small "new" link in the middle of a paragraph :-). Then, we will add the url on the Pharo website and #pharo irc channel :-).

Thanks for the support. With Sean's Configuration ease of use improved, which is very nice. Now, this is a free service that I intended just for our community, I do not really want it to become massively popular, it would only cost me. Hosting a site where people can post anything anonymously is dangerous enough already ;-) Sven PS: .st domains are a lot more expensive that regular domains. PS2: yes, my design skills show through... -- Sven Van Caekenberghe http://stfx.eu Smalltalk is the Red Pill
