Hi guys I want to share how I feel with you. I feel like a guy trying to run 100 m competition against JS, Ruby, Python, Lua⦠and have shoes like that http://www.google.fr/imgres?start=159&client=safari&rls=en&biw=1244&bih=690&... What a wonderful community we have. I understand now deeply the quote: âtake care of my enemys I will care of my âfriendsââ or the inverse So we as a Pharo community will have to really think about our future and what we want to achieve because this is important No need to reply. PS: Iâm the one that invited Gilad to give a presentation to ESUG at Amsterdam and invited to our lab and gilad was the positive reviewer of our inria team for the one that got a really short memory.

It's a neverending story, not a sprint. Claws could come in feety. On 11 February 2014 07:09, Ron Teitelbaum <ron@usmedrec.com> wrote:

I know one that says: watch closely your friends, watch your enemies even closely.

It is a marathon on unknown paths. Those boot may come useful along the way. ObjC was given up for dead long time ago. A true miracle happened and now it is number three. Since it has roots in Smalltalk, let's try to find ways to take advantage of that. Smalltalk is still the best development environment. I won't switch until there is something better. I have faith in it.
