I believe the slides from my talk will be uploaded to the FAST website. But in case you wanted to check it out, I am attaching a PDF with them.
I have no problem with making the ideas and the code presented open-source. As I told Esteban, I was not aware that there would be interest in it, so first I need to find the time to extract the deployment code into a separate project (since I use it for a commercial product), then upload it to github or similar. Also, some of the atendees suggested similar projects and people I should contact to improve the deployment process.
If time permits, I will upload a first version next month. Then if the other projects inspire any changes, I would update the deployment package with them.

Indeed. Getting this right is simply a lot of work. I really appreciate taking the time to describe exactly what is needed, and even more automating it :)

I saw his presentation and I very much liked him showing that. It shows at least the first steps someone could follow in order to provide a "self contained" app that could be download and run with double click in Unix/Windows/Mac.
