Pharo-project.org success stories link to be revised a bit...
As Doru mentioned, marketing of Pharo should be improved to get more traction. Now, on http://www.pharo-project.org/about/success-stories a serious bunch of links are not working, point to projects that are abandoning Smalltalk for Javascript (Language of Languages) - link goes to a page saying so -- bad karma. Even Esteban's Lawsuit Tracker is not the right URL (right one is * http://smallworks.com.ar/web/projects/lawsuitTracker)*. Looks like other projects are not there anymore, click on the links for issys or Ilon SA and end up waiting with nothing showing up. 2denker's http://taskfor.us/ is dead: 404 So, some fixing needed. Are there new things in progress? I guess that QCMagritte guys could show us something sexy. I am currently working on a new thing but it is too early to show. Anyway, who has web apps not listed should give a link and a screenshot or two. Phil
Thanks Phil for bringing this issue up. I do not have much time to devote to this right now, but perhaps others can help. Doru On Tue, Oct 22, 2013 at 6:40 PM, phil@highoctane.be <phil@highoctane.be>wrote:

Give me writing rights and I can fix what can be done. I want this to be successful anyway. (Out of band, I got my Pharo T-Shirts today - Pharo Hi-Res full color logo + pharo-project.org, they look sweet). Guess I'll wear that at the next Coentrepreneur Week end where I am one of the coaches http://weekend.coentrepreneurs.be/ We may want to create a marketing project in Fogbugz and put some actions in there. And we should do PharoFests (like http://tiki.org/TikiFest - isn't that cool?) Tiki is another Doocracy. One side I did with that tech: http://www.socius.be - Testimonial http://philippeback.eu/tiki-index.php?page=TikiWikiConsulting I want the same with Pharo stuff. In order to pick from best practices: https://tiki.org/Communications+Team(I am in there). Next sprint in Lille, let's do podcasts and video interviews of people. That would be terrific. Figure out: Ben on Spec, Markus on Opal, Clément on VM, .... Versioneer, Stef on whatever (e.g. Translucent Color replacement), Guille on Oz, Martin on the fix process, you name it. Among activities: push for the system, vote for it, get it listed etc. Translated into solid EUR at the end of the day. Also, FOSDEM nearing, I suggest we start high impact initiatives to be undertaken so that we can create momentum. I am okay with leading that kind of charge. You tell me. Get the logo from the forge and make you one at Wordans.be. Then wait 12 days for the shipping to occur. Get the 3 for 2 promocode, and you'll get 3 T-Shirts for the price of 2. The other way is coming over to pick it up along with a beer :-) Phil On Tue, Oct 22, 2013 at 11:51 PM, Sven Van Caekenberghe <sven@stfx.eu>wrote:
